it all depends on how well you take pain, i say. i have both my wrists done. not exclusively my wrists, the tattoos cover my entire forearms and happen to go to my wrists. it's not that bad. of course it hurts but it's nothing no one wouldn't be able to handle. if you just relax and breathe and make conversation, you hardly notice the pain. and with all the endorphines, you'll hardly even remember the pain after it's done, and you'll most likely want to get more. you can do it. good luck.

All of those folks naturally don't have any inspiration what they are speaking approximately. When tattooing the needles do not puncture your dermis deep sufficient to come back at any place close your veins. It has not anything to do with that. That artist would now not wish to position it larger on account that of the mobility in that subject. Places wherein you bend has a tendency to not preserve ink good. It additionally would have anything to do with obtaining a role. Just like a few artists may not tattoo knuckles or necks or faces. I'm definite you'll uncover any person who will position your tattoo wherein you wish it for those who store round although.

Hi DayDream, All tats' hurt. It depends on the location of your body if it's going to hurt alot. The wrist area doesn't have hardly any fat, and this is going to hurt pretty good. But if you want a tat, you have to bare the pain. After it's all over, and you heal, you will be glad you had it done. I have 4 tats'myself, and i am working on 2 more before i quit. I am a woman, and it does hurt like hell on some of my tats' But it's well worth the pain. I love my tattoos'.

I have one, the only part that hurt was when the needle went over the tendon that runs straight below my thumb. After I got it done, it kind of burned. But all in all it wasn't that bad. The worse part was trying to keep my hand bent back while it was healing to decrease the amount of cracking in the tattoo. It was hard because I work with my hands at my job, but the tattoo came out fine.
With the exception of the one part I described above, it hurt less than having one done on my lower back.

Actually it's not that bad on the acutal wrist. However, when u get lower, like closer to the bottom of the palm of the hand, then it's feels a little more sharper but not too bad.

Yes, the area is very sensitive, but ultimately, since all tattoos hurt, if you want the tattoo, the theory is no pain, no gain.

I got one on the inside of my left wrist and it hurt. It felt like someone was slicing me with a knife....but I'm a rider...so I took it. It was worth it. I love my tat.

I can imagine it is. And it is illegal in some places. It's too close to the vein and could cause uncontrolled bleeding and death.
You'll be like "tattoos are meant to bleed anyway", not knowing u just ruptured a vein.
