It looks like I have wrinkles under my eyes. My eyes are also red and dry. The doctor told me it's just bad allergies. I am on eye drops, singulair, and clarinex. It doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know any home remedies?

Get plenty of rest and sleep. Drink LOTS of water.

You could possibility have a thyroid problems also.

Are your eyes in good shape? Do you wear glasses? Perhaps some of it is eye strain.

Good luck. Pops

Allergies are difficult because they tend to be chronic. Clean and mop/vacuum your room and get all the dust out. Try to buy an ionic breeze on EBay for a better price.Steep two tea bags, squeeze out the excess and apply to closed eyes 20 minutes twice a day if you can.At least your bedroom will be a no allergy zone, the tea bags will decrease swelling around the eyes and 25 mg of diphenhydramine at night may help with rest and allergy. It is sedative. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

It seems tha meds don't really work if you are still swelling. Ask him to change it. I use Nasacort nasal spray to prevent the allergens from getting into my nose, thus not treating the symptoms. The salt, baking soda and water to gargle and clean out your nasal passages is good for that but the eyes, I don't know. Try another eyedrop. Maybe try keeping the bedding, pillows, espwcially, very clean and the windows and doors to your bedroom closed to keep everything out. Then I hear eating locally made honey helps your immune system. Have you tried anything simple like benadryl at night, 50 mg. which is two at night will let you sleep and may dry up the eyes. It's very drying to me but, helps me sleep. Give the old things a try, they worked and the pattons ran out. good luck.
