no because the child did not know anything about God or Jesus when he grew up. he was deserted so how would he know anyhting

God is fair and just. He would know the level of understanding of that child and his surrounding. I would rather be that child facing God one day , who never had the opportunity of hearing about Jesus, then someone who lives in this country and hears the gospel almost weekly, at least several times throughout their life. God is fair.

there would be no religion. the only thing he could be is either good or bad (most likely good due to no external influences). unless god shows him the way of his religion then he/she will not know of any. in the end if there is a god, then its up to them to choose their fate.

I believe god is not going to punish someone for not knowing. Its when someone knows they are doing wrong and keep doing it when god shows no mercy.
