i asked this question about this guy like 15 min. ago and everyone says tell him. i cant tell him. i just cant tell him. its too hard. 1:im afraid he wont feel the same way and then our friendship will be destroyed 2: i dont wanna look like an idiot and have it spread through school. 3:i think he likes this other girl but also think he still likes me a lil becuz he stares at me alot. they tell me im gonna regret it and i already do becuz i think hes startin to like this other girl. 4: im just scared to. i cant get myself to. so what can i do. can i tell him by the way i speak to him or look at him or flirt with him or whatever? anything by expressions. thaks for your help.

Be aware that your need to be needed/loved may have painted a better picture of him than is actually real. He has faults and flaws the same as the rest of us. Putting him up on a pedestal, and yourself on a stool, won't work in the long run. I'm not saying don't try to have a deeper relationship with this guy; I'm saying make sure you can tell the difference between neediness and 'genuine love in a relationship, balanced way'.

I don't think you play any games at all to tell him... you honestly should just do it.
So what if he likes someone else? You took a chance. You TRIED! that's better than nothing at all! If you don't say how you feel sooner or later you will regret it for the rest of your life. So just get up some courage and do it.
And if he doesn't feel the same, things will just be weird for a little bit, a couple days at the most, but things will go back to normal.

I think you should tell him. I didnt once and I regret it, but someday i mihgt be able to correct it. I just say go for it. It's my new thing. Cause I dont ever want to hold back. If he feels the smae way as you then great! And if he doesnt well then you can move on, and so what if it spreads around school. It doesnt really matter at all! And if it does tomorrow it will be old news! So yah Go for it!
Oh and i think he probably does like you cause that's what guys kinda do when they like a girl.

first off: advice is what you ask for when you already know the truth but you're afraid of it.
which is you right now.. you know the right thing to do is to tell him. you just have to work up the courage to do it.
which is the worse consequence.. to live with this for the next [however long you may know him] years, or for it to be the point of gossip for a couple days? it's not too humiliating.. i don't think people will care as much as you think.
if you really don't want to tell him, then try being a little more obvious about it.. let him figure it out for himself. if he knows, he may act on it easier. remember that guys are just as scared: knowing you like him will give him a lot more confidence.

tell him. me, imma man and i do the same thing. when a guy stares and you think he is cute jus go talk to him. in todays society it is the same way. the guys dont want to say anything because they are scared the girl is going to say no and now i know that girls are the same way. trust, just ask him if he would like to go out with you, so actually you dont really have to tell him. but once you guys go out and have a good time its all down hill from there

I would pretend that I'm looking for info on the other girl and ask him about her. If you're friends, then he shouldn't feel awkward about you asking. Say something like "Hey, I heard that you've got a crush on 'Kathy.' So, what's up with that, are you going to go out w/her or do you like someone else. Inquiring minds want to know." Now, remember you did say you were friends with him, so you can make like you're teasing him. If he says he doesn't like her, ask him who does he like so that you don't have to say "do you like me?" If he blushes or changes the subject, you may have your answer. If he answers you straight, then you will know for sure.

If you are too afraid to actually ask him, then flirt, and drop subtle hints. I am sort of having the same problem. : /
You can get him to think maybe you like him, without having to go right out and say it. If he thinks he knows how you feel, he might think of you as a potential girlfriend. Good luck! :)

most of the time when the feelings are that strong for someone you can bet they are just about felling the same way.cause if he wasn't showing you then you wouldn't feel that away,he's giving you a reason to feel that.so my advice to you is just tell him,you woin't regret it cause i bet he's thinking the same thing your thinking.just wating to see if you notice.and wating on you to take action.so go for it girl

i know exactly how you feel :(
think about this: what's the best that can happen? you two go out and love each other and it's the best feeling in the world. what's the worst? he says no and you feel down for a few days then you get over it.

try to make friends with him and if he lets you be his friend and is you like being his friend things should work out fine
