There is a difference!
Washing with lukewarm water takes away the dirt, i would suggest doing this for about thirty seconds. Then, when you are almost done, splash cold water on your face to close up the pores. Immediately after doing this dab a face towel on your face and put face cream on. This really helps keeping your face looking fresh, clear, and radiant!
*And also remember that you should only wash your face twice a day otherwise it really dries it out. Once in the morning, and once at night.

There's definitely a difference. Here's how to wash your face.
First, splash warm water on your face to wet it,
Then, lather with soap and wash off with warm water (warm water opens up your pores)
For the last few splashes switch to just cold. Doing this closes your pores.

When you are washing your face, use warm water first to open the pores and clean them better, and then when you are rinsing, use cold water to close them up again and keep dirt from getting in right after you wash. :)

Most days, warm water. But on days when I look really tired and worn down, then washing in cold water does the trick.

Wash your face with the water as hot as you can stand it to open the pores and clean as much dirt out of them as possible. Steaming the face is good too (run hot water in the sink and put your face close to it with a towel over your head to trap the steam). Final rinse in cold to close the pores and tighten skin before applying makeup :)

works for me :)

Yes.
Warm water un-clogs your pores, allowing you to clean them out. This is what should be used when washing your face.
Cold water seals your pores shut. After you are done washing your face, you should splash your face a couple times with cold water. It will keep the bacteria out.
Try not to use hot water, it can irritate your skin.
Hope this helps.

Yes, washing with warm or hot water opens your pores and allows them to be washed out more effectively. Afterwards, rinse with cold to close them back up against dirt and oil.

Use warm water which opens up your pores and aloows the water/ cleanser get deeper on the pores therefore it is more effective. Do not use cold water at the end because as long as you are not going to excercise or sweat profusely you want your pores to be able to freely secrete oils and allow any dirt to come out. This prevents blackheads and whiteheads. Hope it helped : ) !
