I breed bulldogs and I don't think that you will ever find a "healthy" bulldog for $1000. They are very expensive to breed. We pay $500-1000 for stud fee. $300 for artificial insemination. $1500 for c-section. Plus, taking care of them after they are born. That means many sleepless nights because they have to be fed every 2 hours and can't stay with the mom. We also spend a lot of time looking for good, permanent homes. After that, you only get a couple puppies from each litter. Anybody who breeds bulldogs like you should does not usually make a huge profit if any at all.
I would suggest you save a little more money and buy one from someone you have checked out. There are a lot of scams going on now. GOOD LUCK!!!

With the English Bulldog, less expensive is not fairly higher. You will be in a position to find one (or a mix) at a refuge, but no good breeder will section with one for what you would take into account as a "affordable rate." this is given that the breed may be very complicated to breed - they must be artificially inseminated and the b*tches have to have a c-section and can not whelp naturally. In addition they need quite a lot of genetic testing for the reason that they've various wellness issues. Even a well bred dog can have respiration problems, may snore, won't tolerate lengthy bouts of undertaking, etc. A poorly bred canine with have all of those issues accelerated by using ten AND genetic problems like hip dysplasia (and others.) These puppies are VERY steeply-priced to maintain and tend to wish lots of vet care. I'd be cautious and handiest purchase from a breeder who has carried out vast wellbeing screenings and has proven their dogs (to prove the puppies are to breed regular and now not too massive/small.) The canine can be fitter in the end.

Bulldogs are known for health problems. This breed, especially, you will want to make sure to buy from a good show breeder who does appropriate health testing.

They are extremely expensive to breed (expensive to own as well). They need to be bred by artificial insemination and birthed by c-section. A breeder can easily have $4-5000 into a litter and only have 2-3 pups.

If you find a 'cheap' one, the breeder is probably cutting corners somewhere and you may ending up paying in huge Vet bills and alot of heartache.

With the English Bulldog, extra value-effective won't be extra constructive. you're able to finding one (or a mix) at a defend, yet no sturdy breeder will area with one for what you may evaluate as a "sensible cost." it quite is as a results of fact the breed is extremely complicated to reproduce - they could be artificially inseminated and the b*tches could have a c-area and can't whelp of course. additionally they choose quite some genetic sorting out as a results of fact they have quite some well being problems. Even a properly bred dogs could have respiration problems, could snore, won't tolerate long bouts of exercising, etc. A poorly bred dogs with have all of those problems elevated by ten AND genetic problems like hip dysplasia (and others.) those canines are VERY high priced to maintain and characteristic a tendency to choose an excellent number of vet care. i could be careful and purely purchase from a breeder who has performed huge well being screenings and has shown their canines (to coach the canines are to reproduce time-honored and not too super/small.) The dogs would be extra healthy in the long-term.

You might want to try an adoption center or a rescue. They are so expensive b/c the have to be born by Cesarian section, and the owners have to invest lots of time/money into the pregnant dog. You aren't going to find them under $1000 from any breeder. Good luck.
