My gp and I are really close - we constantly flirt and he is really attractive. Would you ever date your doctor - should I tell him that I have feelings for him even though he may just like the attention he gets by flirting and not want more?

If you want to date your DR you should get a different DR first. He could lose his license for conflict of interest and ethics violations if he dated you while you were his patient. Ask him if he is interested in going out for lunch sometime without any medical talk. See if he is receptive, or if he's just got a really good "bedside manner". Tell him if there's a conflict of interest you can change DR's.

Physicians are human too. Of course it is ok to have a relationship with your Dr. Start asking questions about his family. Then if you find he's not married, you could pass a few hints as to how you feel. If he's truly interested he'll pick up on it and take it from there. Good luck.

You are merely recognizing what most people call...a bedside manor. But don't feel badly, many women acquire an attraction for the doctor.... but just on the outside chance he is interested.... continue to remain flirtatious... and see what he says or does.
Is he single? If you don't know, you better find out...

If your around the same age as your doctor, i guess it is OKay. You might not want to tell him that u like him unless you are sure that he likes you because you might be getting mixed signs. If he is a lot older than you, it is probably not ok. Hope i helped.

If he's married, then no way. If he's single, I think you should invite him to something, as a friend: live music venue, ball game, movie he may have talked about; something that HE wants to do. Make it seem like his idea, you'll get a lot farther that way, provided he's open to dating patients.

Yeah, don't make the mistake I always do and let that slip away!
Also remember he's the doctor, he's get his job at stake and is probably not going to make a move unless you do. Doctors get sued if they breath on you wrong.

what do you think? of course it is not okay. because it will jeperdise is job and he will be unable to be a doctor if he has a relationship with you. unless you go to another doctor then you can have a relationship with the doctor.

Any decent doctor would not ever date a patient: it's unethical. HOWEVER, you could switch doctors and then tell him how you feel! LOL
