Not at all. I use them in mine and I still managed to chip a tooth in hour 34 of the battery's 4th charge.

To accurately answer this question, I will need some more info. Is the device being used in accordance with the manufacturers specifications? Have you made any modifications to the device? How often, and for how long is the device used. And if I told you that erformance would suffer greatly, would you consider replacing the device with something more genuine? Pictures and detailed descriptions would be helpful.

You'll be excited to learn that re-chargables will perform well. The bad news is that they may not have the same staying power. However, if,instead if lighting a cigarette after..., you stick those little suckers back in the charger - they'll be up in about an hour.

it wont reduce it's performance, but it is alot easyier to recharge them everytime after use so that it doesnt run out or start to go low.
