ok let me ask you a question fool.

you are about to fall of a cliff 2 people could save you. an 8 year old says he could go get help or a child molester who throws you a rope what help will you take? remember your fingers are slipping...

see is that not a stupid question as well?

you are such an idiot..the same way most of you who answered this question are. first of all you said 2 people could save you are you talking about the persons soul or his body? because only the rope it seems can save the body and i guess you are implying that the prayer will save the soul..who knows but one thing is for sure questions like these ones are just for foolish people to try and prove they are intelligent when clearly they are not

If i choose the rope the believer sits there and calls the atheists actions the work of god, "a miracle". Why do people give so much credit to a being that may not exist. Humans brought ourselves this far, not some god.

Thumbs down tab is the one on the right. ;)

The Atheist. This is a dumb question because the believer would not sit there and pray about it. They would both be throwing ropes.

Take the rope from the atheist and ask the believer to pray that the rope holds

i would trust for the believer obviously.

if the atheist throws you the rope , well first of all it depends, if you can climb a rope with out any fear of falling off the cliff then your okay, but it is risky.

and praying works once in a while if you are really on to religion.

but i would trust the believer of praying for me

The one with the rope. Even if you believe in God, taking the rope from the other will not make you any less of a believer. It just makes you wise. The way I see it:

Antheist: You will live and still practice your faith (if you believe).
Believer: You will perish and maybe go to the next life or where ever, leaving behind all your loved ones and life.

Which would you choose?

That's a generalization. What makes you think that the Christian would do something like that? Religion doesn't have anything to do with a person needing to be rescued. I'm inclined to think that both would throw the rope.

The believer prayed for the rope and let the atheist use it. What a guy he is.

The rope. Praying about it will not make you not fall off the cliff. People need common sense. It's like saying that if you drink poision then your faith will save you. Logical sense says poision will kill you...God never said he would save you for your foolishness. People have to deal with their consequences...God will only help you to cope and endure through your trials.

since the athiest doesn't have a religion, I won't look towards him for salvation. I'll just reach for the rope of the atheist and still be back at church on sunday.
