If my grams was still alive she'd be 92,but I'd haveta beg her for the recipe to alot of her pies(peach, strawberry rhubarb or apple) I've tried to duplicate them but they never came close to hers. What recipe would you love to get from your grandma or wish you had of?

I would love the resipe to my granny's biscuits. I mean...these things were made with lard, buttermilk, flour....hmmmm. Melt in your mouth good, especially with cane patch syrup pour in the middle.

My grandmother's angel food cake had to be seen to be believed. Not only was it over a foot tall, but it melted in your mouth like a bite of a cloud. And with fresh peaches or strawberries, it was fit for the banquet table in Paradise.

I've actually got the recipe, but my cakes never turn out as light and delicious as hers did. I don't know what she did, but those angel food cakes were the best ever!

Neither of my Grandmother's could cook well at all, God rest their souls! I sure wish they had been able to though because, I sure would have loved to have a recipe or two to say, this recipe came from my Grandma.

Mine too has been gone many yrs. but I remember sitting on the back step of the old farm house eating these big oatmeal cookies, she always had them in the kitchen. Never since have I tasted any that have come close to hers. Sweet memories aren't they.
