my boyfriend went to the Galleria without me today and when i called him he said he got me smtn, and i said "only ONE THING?" sarcasticly (sorry can't spell) and he said "yeah" "i wouldn't have got that but i did cuz i knew you would have been a ***** about it" was he kiddin' with me? cuz i can't tell. shoulld i accept it if he didnt want to buy it for me in the first place?

Depending on how long you guys have been together, you might ought to know when he's kidding. It sure didn't read like he was kidding. If you want to know the truth, however, you should ask him.

Kaleigh, did the tone of his voice sound like kidding? Did yours? If you don't know, you both need to work on knowing each other better, especially over the phone. Maybe you could call him up and mention you were being sarcastic, that it's a bad habit and you would never expect anything like that from him because you really care about him. Then agree on a way you will both know that you are kidding by being sarcastic. I know people who say the most sarcastic things to each other but are really in love and just totally understand that they mean the opposite of what they say to each other, and it works for them. I know others who would say sarcastic things to their friends or loved ones but would seriously ditch them if it were returned. If you care about him, make sure.

First of all you need to know what you are ready to accept or not. When you are in a relationship you need to comand respect. Wether he's playing or not he shouldn't be talking to you like that, unless you feel it is acceptable. As far as accepting the gift, well if he didn't want to get it for you why did he? I woiuld ask him and based on his answer I'd decide if I wanted it or not!
