A CD shattered in my computer while my brother was on. He thought he got rid of all of the glass, but I guess not. I bought a new disk. I put it in, and it wouldn't load. When I opened it, there was a big scratch in it. I tryed it with another usless disk, same thing. I don't know how to get the glass out. What do I do?

You gotta open up that cd-rom and get the pieces out manually. When you open the cd-rom, you lose the warranty. If it is still under warranty, call up the company to get and tell them the cd-rom won't work for some reason, don't tell them a cd is shattered in there.

Do not mess around with this! Take it to a repair pro immediately. that's the only way to get it fixed and have a gaurantee that it was done right.
