well if you live near the beach or the water why not take her out on a picnic that doesn't end in the water you could go to a secluded place that you may know of & then place candles & roses around the area it can over look the water but maybe having it on the water is not such a good idea

The Irvine Spectrum has the Improv plus some good restaurant/bars to go to either before or after. There's also a ferris wheel and plenty of great people watching.
