If you teach them what you believe is true like the bible, will you also start teaching them now how to make money and become wealthy and that with wealth you can enjoy more of the better things society has to offer. Will you also teach them that it is their choice to believe and understand to accept what you are teaching them is in fact true not just what you as an individual believe to be true. Will you teach them that not all will succeed in society. All I'm saying is children need to know all the true facts of life.

Just tell them about God and that he made everything including all of us humans and then tell him about Jesus who is God and then use the example of you and your husbands last name and your child's last name and say that even though he is different from his father he still has the same last name (an attempt to explain how Jesus could still be God) The Trinity is too much for human adults to understand let alone a small child. Then let them know about their guardian angel and how they take care of them and watch over them and how they can pray for their guardian angel to bring special messages to God if they want or they can just thank their angel for watching over them but, that's enough for right now when they are little. Gradually teach them how to pray the Our Father and any other prayers you like.

Why not let them get at least twelve years old so they can form rational opinions before forcing religion on them? Kids can't judge for themselves when they are taught religion too young and just mindlessly accept what adults tell them is true.
Wouldn't it be so much better if they heard about religion when they were old enough to have some judgement and form opionions for themselves so they could decide for themselves what they believe? It is not fair to your kids to tell them what is true when it is actually just your own belief system. You yourself may not even know that it is just an opinion if you were taught religion at a very young age. You may be unable to reason rationally and make a decision about what you want to believe. Examine your own beliefs and decide if you came to them on your own, or you simply believe them because that is what you were taught by adults as a young child.
You want to do what is right for your children. And that means allowing them to come to their own beliefs naturally. Tell them, "Here is what I believe", not "Here is the truth". That way they can decide for themselves if they believe what you believe. To do otherwise is to actually brainwash you own children as you yourself were brainwashed.

Try a children's Bible. The major stories are there, simplified so kids can understand them, and the extra stuff is left out. They usually have cartoony illustrations to help them get it.

"Once upon a time in a magical land..."
Or you could lie to them and tell them it is real.
