this girl liked me and i didnt wanna go out with her so she spread rumors about how she rejected me and that i asked her out which is totally false. Im just wondering who other girls would believe me or that girl? I didnt want to tell that girl off because she is stupid fr even saying that i just let it go as if nothing happened.

I can tell you that smart people are wary of people that gossip. If they're talking trash about someone else, be sure they are talking trash about you too. And I think her friends have probably heard her before and have weighed this for what it's worth.

I think you did the right thing. If you told her off she'd probably just say more stuff about you. Sometimes we do stupid things when we get our feelings hurt. She probably found out that you weren't interested in her and she really liked you and that hurt her. By her spreading rumors about you it made her feel better about herself. Give it a few weeks and nobody is probably going to remember anyway so it won't really matter whose side anyone took. If there's a girl you like and she likes you then it won't matter if you asked this other girl out or not. Also this might help you out because some of the other ladies might feel sorry for you since you got rejected so callously ;) Just go with it.

That's her way of dealing with her insecurity and rejection. If there is a girl that you are interested in and she heard the rumor, explain to her the situation. But don't go doing what she did and start spreading rumors because you know KARMA. You can even talk to this girl who is spreading these rumors and sit her down and ask why she is doing these things.

Yep. That's the right one. If you over react, the other girls might wonder if it really could be true. If you don't react, they'll be pretty sure it wasn't. And if it helps any, girls the same age know each other, faults and all. If she made up the rumor about you, trust me (as a girl, too!) she's done it other times, too, and probably lots of them. She sounds like a drama queen, and the girls who know her - or even just know *of* her - know that. Don't give it another thought. The less notice of it you show, the better. (Not to mention that by now they've already gone on to more other conversations than you'd even believe if you knew. Trust me. It's already ancient history)!

There one thing that you can do. You can confront her and ask her the truth weather she been making stories about you. Secondly you can just ignored. By the way rumors will be always be rumors. Sooner or later it will go away. Good luck.

You shouldn't even worry about that, because it shows that she is immature and she was upset that you let her down. If you show her that you're not bothered by it, then those girls probably won't even believe her they'll just think she's crazy over you.

just forget about it. its harder for girls to get rejected than for guys to get rejected. she probably thought you were going to tell people that she liked you so she felt that she should tell people that she rejected you first. you know the truth so who cares what she said.
