Of course. Universes may simply multiplex. They all exist in the same space but at different frequencies. This is how you can have a thousand different conversations on the same fiber optic cable.

So god has to keep tuning to new universes every second, and since there are sooooo many, this explains why he never has time to stop over my house for coffee.

If there are a thousand or a million other universes, or none, God is still God, still in control, and still cares about the life of a little sparrow.

First of all, who is to say that god created this universe? There are many who believe, but there is no actual proof of such. Additionally, there is no reason to believe that there AREN'T 1000's of other unvierses out there. It's a heavy concept, but one that needs to be discussed more often.

According to answers.com, the definition of universe is "everything in creation". So how can there be two universes? There can't be, because once you talk about something in creation, you are talking about something in this universe.

Logic: If there were other universes (but a universe is everything in creation) there must be one ultimate universe for the other multiple universes. But there can't be two things that represent everything in creation. Therefore, my answer is no.

UNI-verse

UNI = ???

And what if there were 1000 billion universes ... still God could care for all of them. But only one where He formed humans and, eventually, became Incarnate as one of them.

if there is one, then by default there are infinite (as well as none - being the last possibility of infinity) - how can any one thing be "greater" than another - "equality without prejudice or opinion is the open door to infinity and oblivion"

can you prove how big this universe is?
can you prove existence of other universes?
why should you care of other universes? isn't there enough problems on this little planet?
