some churches may allow you to not have attended for you to be married there. some that allow that usually ask you to take a month of FREE pre-marriage counseling sessions first and then they'll be more than happy to marry you at a certain price $100+. Catholic churches though, you have to convert and do pre-marriag couseling and become a member of their curch and faith plus pay the minister $100+. My suggestion, find someone that will do it outside the church, there are many ministers out there in your area just look around on the internet. www.theknot.com it can help with everything you need to know. Good Luck

It depends on the church...if it is a popular church, then they only perform the Sacraments for those who are inside of their boundaries. Others have strict rules about what can and can't go on during weddings, and understand that some don't like all the rules. They will write a letter of intent for the couple to get married at another church. Some churches accept weddings from anyone, even if they live out of state or in another county.

I agree with everyone, it depends on the Church. But not many Churches allow non-parishoners but for a higher fee.
My friend told me he was charged $50 more and he perferred that rather than having to go to Church all the time. Check with the Church you want.
Good Luck!

No. You just go to the church make the arrangements, most likely with their pastor, wedding coordinator, or church secretary. It may help if maybe you know someone there, because it might cut the cost a little, but otherwise you don't have to go there to have your wedding there.

It depends on the faith. Most you have to belong to that church. We were lucky and found a church in our faith that would let us have the ceremony there (time issue with the ones we belonged to) since we both belonged to churches of that faith. I would call the church you are interested in and see what they say.
