I have a Panasonic PV-DV200 camcorder, how can I connect it to my PC?

In the handbook, it says I need a DVI cable IEEE 1394 with a pin between 6 and 4. Are these expensive,and is there another way to connect my camcorder to my computer to edit my video for a project?

DVI and IEEE 1394 (Firewire) are two different interfaces. Read your handbook again. It may need a cable with DVI on one end and IEEE 1394 on the other hand to do this. The cable is expensive.
