Hello I am i12 years old and gets frequent migraines/headaches triggered by sunlight, exercise, and heat. When I runs my face turns extremely red and I get out of breath after 30 seconds of running.I don't know if I have asthma or not. One night I had extreme pressure in her left temple and it felt like it "popped".I've had terrible pain but only for about a minute. This happened over 6 months ago.My face has been a tinted red ever since the incident and my face is almost always hot.Is this just asthma...or is this normal?Should I get this checked out by a doctor?I have high blood pressure but nothing that is wrong with that.

Honey, I'm not sure what could be wrong, but I am sure that you need to see a doctor. Please talk to your mom and make an appointment to see your doctor.

I don't think it's asthma. I get (and always have) really red-faced when I do any sort of exertion like climbing a hill, running, etc. I also get really puffed and my heart beats really hard and fast. I was worried about it and had a stress treadmill exercise and an ECG several years ago, and basically the doctor just told me I was unfit! (Well, actually, I was 'normal' and there were no health problems to worry about, but I wasn't exactly Superwoman.)

I think it's all related to the level of oxygen that gets to your muscles, the amount of lactic acid buildup in the muscles, and the volume of air that your lungs are capable of taking in and processing. I have really bad allergies, so I'm sure that's a factor in my cardio-respiratory fitness.

I'm sorry I don't have any definitive answer - I'm still trying to figure it out myself! But I don't think it's anything to worry about. HOWEVER, it wouldn't hurt to get a doctor's opinion - can you see a sports medicine specialist? That's who I'd recommend. Good luck!

My suggestion is to have your mother present when you stand with your feet together and shut your eyes.. let her see if there is any unusual motion... If there is, make sure she takes you to see a doctor of Chiropractic, as it would indicate a structural problem taking place.

It should be taken care of while you are still very young as it will progress as you grow older.

Yes, see your doc, always be safe then sorry. When it gets cold the grasses dry up and are in the air. You could just becoming more sensitive to allergies.
