I have a dilemma with the guy I've liked for 2 years. Why doesn't he talk to me anymore ?

I've liked this guy for a while and we are really good friends. I go to an all-girls high school and he goes to the all-boys high school down the street. I've known him for 6 years and I've liked him for a while. We asked each other to our homecomings. At his homecoming we had a great time. WE were dancing flirting, holding hands, ect. and he really seemed like he wanted something more than friendship.However, when it came to my Homecoming, a couple days before, I started feeling really sick. The night before my homecoming, he called me to ask how I was, and was being really sweet. We talked for hours and he really seemed to care. The next day, I called him to let him know that I was too sick to go, and he was so different and it didn't seem like he cared anymore. Now things are kind of awkward between us, and we don't talk as much. It's so odd because I was sure that he liked me as were the rest of our friends. Why did he act so differently on the phone and what's going on with him?

May have been he heard something from someone else about you? Maybe he likes someone else?

Maybe he thinks you might not be interested anymore. Honesty is best policy in my book. Bring it up that you would like to talk about something and ask him. See what he says. If he isnt interested anymore at leat you know.

He doesn't believe you missed the homecoming cause u were sick - just keepn trying to talk to him don't push - he'll come around

It sounds like he thinks you cancelled the date to go with someone else. Start talking to him more & show him you like him.

you broke the date. how many dates did guy's brake on you. you really sick or where you sick of him? if you want this guy, you have got to make it up to him. show him your not sick of him.
