Hi,
I want to find a share file program that will be able to help me download files to learn a second language. I have books and cassettes, but i kinda live in 2006, i have an ipod, and god only knows where my cd player is, yet alone a cassette player.

I dont really care what language, just a common one for aussies to travel around, like italian, french, spanish, just a good one, not like turkish, thai, places i will end up going.

This is so i can travel to those countries and have a great time rather than spending half my time in a translation book...

anyone can you help?

Try this website http://www.logoslibrary.eu/pls/wordtc/new_wordtheque.main_bimbi?lang=en
Click on a flag to go to the page of that language, download the mp3s and the texts to listen to and read. This website also conjugates verbs. Good luck.

Esperanto is by far the easiest answer for you. There is a fair size Aussie community, but the real benefit is that you can find Esperanto speakers just about anywhere in the world. Many will even take you in and show you around the places. While you're there you can learn their culture and language, or just plain party your ass off, and it won't cost as much as staying at the hotels, etc. Pick a country and you'll find friends there, plus you'll learn the language 5 or more times faster than any other language.

The Lernu! site has many mp3 files and courses and flash screens for study, plus there are a multitude of other sites out there for learning it. You can even get radio broadcasts from Poland, the Vatican, British Columbia in Canada (Radio Verda) which can be downloaded for listening to at your leisure.

Notice the two Australian sites below.
