I have put them in the freezer till tomorror so that they travel well. (I have them stacked and I do not want icing everywhere.) Will the freezing ruin the cupcakes? Will it throw off the texture of the cake and icing?

Not if it's just one nigh of freezing. They should be fine.
But if you're taking them to something, somewhere out of town, you could've waited and made them, there. I think they'll be fine!
Just don't give in to the temptation to eat them all, yourself, even on the way. A person can get very hungry, when traveling, especially if with food of any kind.

You'd better unstack them before they thaw out or you'll have a huge mess. The icing from the top of the cupcakes will stick to the bottom. I would just take them out of the freezer, unstack them and put them in a Tupperware and put them on the counter. Freezing them will not alter the flavor or texture of the cakes. They'll be OK until tomorrow.

Well, probably. When you freeze something, it basically ruins the whole thing. Your are taking out the water content, texture, moisture, and goody goodness. The icing would be cool frozen, but the cupcakes would turn very dry and raisin bran-like. Better take them out soon! You can put them in the fridge, and there would be a less likely chance of this happening. There is something called a cooler. You can buy a cooler at any store, put bunches of ice pack in them, and then wrap each one with plastic wrap or something. Good luck, bet those cupcakes will turn out good!

You bake them in a cupcake tin, and may also delivery them interior an identical pan..... Make some extra, because the cones have a bent to crack at the same time as they're baking. To frost them, stick them suitable down right into a bowl of icing, and swirl them to look like an ice cream cone. Sprinkles are good on suitable......

I use to work in a bakery. The freezer might crack the icing and also dry the cupcakes out if they are not wrapped properly. I would put them in the fridge for the night.

The only bread or pastry I'll put in the freezer is pound cake. The bakeries leave them out all day! So put them in the fridge, and when you hit the road. put them in a container that will keep them moderately cool!

No, they should thaw out just fine. I do hope you put them in a container with a lid though. Let them set on the counter at room temp to thaw out, not covered or they will sweat.

They might get freezer burn if you do not put them in some sort of wrap or a bag. When they thaw out they might taste a little watery too.

If you are going tomorrow then I would have just put them in a container and left them like that. I wouldn't freeze them. The container will keep them fresh and good
