i bought a 32inch lcd hdtv and the picture quality is great when i play my x-box 360 on it but when i watch regular tv it isnt the best...i mean my regular tv from wal-mart has better quality! so yeah! if you can please send me the best settings you have it would be appreciated! Also if you have another LCD HDTV that you would recommend i still have about 70 days to return this one! thank you

To get the best picture you need to have HD cable signal. Your tv is an HDTV and so it has a higher resolution than the crt tv but it need to have HD signal to get the best out of it. It will try to convert the cable signal for a higher resolution display and when it does that it will also magnify all the thing that the crt tv can't display. There's nothing wrong with your lcd tv. Regular cable does not have High Definition built-in. You can try to calibrate your tv but it won't be much better since the signal it receive from the cable company is just not HD. Your xbox360 can have HD out from component cable that's why it looks great, same thing with your dvd player.
