i have a daughter and i use motion it's yellow with purple tops you can gets hair conditioner a pomade that is better than regular hair jell shampoo and conditioner you can get it at any Walgreen's store or sally beauty supply. try it yes she is to young for a relaxer you should blow her hair out using a rolling brush designed for a blow dryer or take her to the salon and let them blow her hair out it cost like 15 dollars. don't relax her hair because she's alittle to young and that will change the texture of her hair and if you do relax the hair and if it stays dry and neglected it will fall right out so that something to think about, I'm black and puerto rican i have very good hair my daughter is the opposite, I've been using motions for her and sometimes taking a flat iron to her hair to straighting it. it works but think twice before you use chemicals in your daughters hair.

Have you tried cholesterol? I believe it's very good at conditioning, not so much for relaxing, but might help prevent breakage.

Yeah, I know I have blond hair. My best friend is black and we talk a lot.
