It is possible, but it is more likely that the inside of your mouth would be cut on the braces.

YES!! I was pitching one time and the girl hit the ball. The ball hit the pitchers mound and smacked me in the mouth. The next thing I knew my braces had gone through my lip and attached to the ball. I had to go to the dentist to have my braces fixed, they got all broken up. BE CAREFUL when you are playing cause when that ball hits you it hurts like a s.o.b!

Depending on the force of the ball, MUCH more than the braces could break (teeth, jaw bone, etc).

Those things are indestructible, but they would "break" off from the tooth, and have to be re-made and re-attached. They usually allow a couple or 3 free breakages that can be fixed before they start charging.

It depends how hard it was thrown. If hard, yes, if not, probably not. However hard, it will probably cut your lip.
