No, that is one of the worst things you can do. First of all, consider if you were in his shoes, would you really want to be broken up with on a note? Furthermore, your relationship was a personal thing, and whether you're breaking up with him because you're not interested any more, or because he cheated on you, it's still a personal action. You should do it in person to show how you really feel (angry, upset, etc.)

No it is not ok to break up with someone in a note and expect for them to just move on without actually knowing what was going on. Have the guts to go up to him and tell him why you dont want to be with hm anymore. Give him sometype of closure so that he wont be wondering why it happened. At least give him that much if you are going to break up with him. Good Luck

It is always better to break up with someone in person. As a last resort use a note.

No. its not ok its very hurtful and wrong and not right!!!! What u should do is talk to him in private and tell him why u want to break up cause if its a good reason then he'll understand. Besides he'll think that u dont have the guts to say it in person anyways and thats not a good thing!!!!!! Godd Luck!!!!!!!!!!

There's way to much emphasis on the break up in person thing... Really, who cares... There is nothing wrong with doing it by note.

I would tell him face-to-face... It would show that you aren't a coward and you are ready to give him up completely. It will hurt, but later you-and your new x-will feel much better. I say that, because notes tend to hurt people a lot more than talking to them in person. So be brave, and tell him face-to-face.

I broke up with mine on instant messenger and now I regret it because I really should have atleast talked outloud to him to tell him what was wrong-- it's hard to disappoint people though. I say that if it is too hard to do it in person, try to do it on the phone atleast, so that you can explain. I know it's hard, but it will be better that way.

I think if you have just started seeing him......a note may be o.k. but if you have been seeing him a while then be the person you know you should be and tell him in person, you will be glad you did.

cause today that happened to some1 and they got all pissed
so its not the best of all
but it works if u really wnat
i would not reconmend
try to breakup with him in person
