Don't break up with a note! Just tell him to his face, or at the very least (not recommended, but still better than a note) make a phone call. The important thing is to do it quickly and directly so as to avoid wasting your time and his. Be considerate, but don't leave him hanging on to some hope. It sounds like he doesn't even want to be in the relationship anyway. Good night!

Just say that you've been really good to me and all, but I think I deserve more than you. I just don't feel the love anymore that I felt when we first started. The communication between us is worse then what I would prefer. I'm sorry/ goodbye. Something along those lines. If he's literal, then take it easy on him.

It sure seems like he is not your BF as you think.
Does he come by from time to time for some sex and then gone again.
Just put a sign on the bed saying the fee is $100.00 per hour.
That way either he leaves you alone or you get a good income.

break ups are always hard... and from what you said it doesn't sound like you guys are that close, so it will be easier to break up.
