My cat caught this bird( I think it is a dove) and I saved it and placed it in a box. It is still alive, it is full grown and is in great condition.
But I don't know how to care for and nurse it back to health.
Can any one give me tips???

The bird is fine, but it is a wild bird and I don't know how to take care of wild birds. It is in shock right now. It can still hop around and flap it's wings but
it can't lift off, other than that it's fine... That I know of....

Bring it to a wildlife rehab center ASAP, cat attacks left untreated usually involve the bird dying. Cat saliva contains bacteria which is quite harmful to birds and even a bit is bad. Do not try and forcethe bird to take fluids as you risk sending some down the trachea and causing the bird more distress. Keep the bird in a box, quiet until you can find somewhere to bring it. Avoid peeking inside all the time, its stressful to the bird as it sees you as a predator. There are a number of reasons the bird may not be flying not all of them obvious, in any event the bird needs help find it a rehab center to give it the best chance of survival.

If the bird can't fly, it's not fine and not in great condition.
Doves get broken wings very easily, especially at the shoulder. Is one of its wings drooping?
When cat's get wild birds there is often times internal injuries. Has it gone to the bathroom. There may be blood in it's stool. Do not give it food. Give it Gatorade or something like that.
Another thing that happens is the cat breaks or punctures the skin and it gets cat scratch fever. Yes there is such a thing. It kills if not treated soon.
If you have an animal emergency in your area, PLEASE call them for a list of wild bird rehabilitators in your area. The sooner the better.
If it's in shock you should keep it in a warm place and not bother it.
It's not a pet or new toy. It needs help.

Well, do what we did with an injured wild bird one time. We found a bird that was adled in the yard and strangely enough it only had one eye. Apparently it was born that way! So we put it in a box with a little birdseed and some water outside and left it alone. It tucked it's head under it's wing and slept all night. The next morning it was gone. Everything in the box was undisturbed, so it had to have just flown away.
So what I suggest is that you do the same thing for the dove and keep it away from your cat!

If you have a wildlife rescue in your area, take it there, and let trained professionals do the job. If there isnt one near you, then let it go and let nature take its course. It will be more likely to survive in the wild where it knows what to do then with you taking care of it. And if you keep it too long, it will loose its natural instincts and will not be able to be released succesfully in the wild ever again.

Just keep the bird warm and safe. Line a box in towels and leave it in there for awhile. It'll be okay if his wings aren't drooping, his poo isn't bloody, or if he doesn't start panting.
Don't doves usually eat berries and bugs? Try feeding it cornmeal or something.

What's wrong with the bird in the first place? If not just bring it to the vet.

i once took a blue jay to a no kill animal shelter and they helped it. if you don't have one of those try animal wildlife reserve or a vet.
put a bell on your cats collar. it's very effective the birds and other critters hear it and fly/run away.

on condition that it quite is a male cat, then you definately could get him some sparkling ...kitty catsss...they could be sympathetic to the wood leg, yet you in no way understand what a kitty cat sees in a cats eye besides. tell Sylvester which you acquire it as we communicate, basically approximately as quickly as.

Look online to see if there are any bird or wildlife rescue places close enough that you could take it to.
