my best friend's boyfriend just broke up with her, and she's really hurt and upset. i just don't know what to tell her to make her feel better!! shes always coming to me and i know she wants me to say something comforting and give her some advice..but i've got nothing!!! help?
P.S. i'm talking about a 14 year old ...freshman in high school..her boyfriend was 17-a junior. soo..yeah.

dont give her advice...jus give her a hug, and let her know ur there....she doesnt need ur advice, she just needs u to listen..good luck

Just tell her it's going to hurt for a little while, but it will get better. Tell her that she's a great catch and she wont have a problem finding a great guy. Also tell her that it would have been hard had they stayed together because he's off to college soon and she's not.

Just give her the same old line we always say. "It's his lost, he's stupid, he doesn't deserve you anyway" Also let her know that there are plenty fish in the sea. And my favorite. "The best way to get over a love is the love another" She's got her whole life!!!
