He doesn't get into chew toys that much. I was wondering if anyone knew of something I could get him to play with.

High five, another beagle owner! Judge loves stuffed toys and tennis balls. He once stole a doll off my shelf and started amusing himself with it. Also, Judge likes kong toys. He's not into chew toys either, but if you put peanutbutter in the kong toy and kibble, beagles love them.

Because Beagles are such highly energetic animals and need constant mental stimulation, you may want to try a Kong, they are not just for chewing but you can stuff it with alot of things check out kongs web site for recipe ideas, or use plain peanut butter, it will keep them busy for hours.

Beagles are hunting dogs. Anything that he can "sniff out" is good. A "Kong" with some semi-soft (burger type) dog food packed inside will keep him entertained for hours. Also - try hiding it behind a chair or somewhere where he can get to it once he "tracks it down"!

We go to the second hand store and buy stuffed animal toys by the garbage bag full.
