Go with the money people. Even a check with Merry Christmas written on it. Cleaning people probably could use extra cash at Christmastime.

i would say money, in a nice card,,,, whatever you would of spent on a gift/gifts,,,,,, or else a gift card to say Walmart/Kmart,,,,,,,,these are things everyone can use, especially at Christmas,,,,, if you want to add something to it, perhaps cookies (purchased or baked at home) or specialty nuts,,,, general things they could use during the holidays,,,,, i personally would get those cute "chinese take-out" boxes, and put cookies or something in it ,,, and attach the evelope with money/or gift card to it,,,

for one day assume their cleaning duties. when they report for work have a food tray and drinks there for them. let them enjoy themselves for awhile . when they are leaving, give them a pre paid gift card . it would be anti-climatic to have them clean up the mess, you may want to take care of that yourself
