At the dinner table we discuss our day, our kids day. It is really a great time to get to know a little bit more of our children.

Besides what happened today..

It is also going over goals and achievements.
Like we have almost finished the garden off...
Then we can sit back for a while and relax.

Or we still have to finish off the BBQ and shaded area..
giving ideas and such. to talk about easy DIY ideas or cheaper ways of getting it done.

Maybe planning get togethers with friends or family.. Etc.

We usually go around the table and answer two basic questions.

1. What was the best part of your day?
2. What was the worst part of your day?

That usually keeps us going as we elaborate more about those questions.

There's a joke in my family that there are only four topics. It seems like the conversation always comes around to one of the four sooner or later.

The topics are: computers, grammar, guns, and... I can't remember the other one right now. (In case you're wondering, grammar is my favorite.)
