#1 Why do most of the men I come in contact with, in my life, end up viewing me as a sister/daughter? There is a guy I know, who I am crazy about, yet he treats me like I'm his freakin' kid! He seriously just watches over me, talks to me like I'm a simpleton, flirts with every other girl but me...
I don't understand that. The only guy who I was ever truly in love with, in my life, ended up calling me "sis," too.
I had a pretty screwed up childhood, when it comes to my father. Does that have something to do with this? Can men sense that or something?
Also, why have I NEVER been asked out on a date?
I'm 5'4, 110 lbs, pretty flat chested (not even an A cup), and I don't think I'm pretty, whatsoever, but I've been told otherwise. I'm extremely sweet, and I treat people nicely...
Why don't men respond to me??
Why do all the skanks and mean girls out there get dates and have guys after them, when I don't have any??
Explain this to me, eh?

Well maybe the way you act around the guy you remind him of his sister but besides the point guys want the skanks because the kno the can get some. Ur father could have something to do with this u might act different around guys because wht ur father did. the guy might have been protected over u because deep down inside he might like u. Dont ever try to be sumone ur not. Act ur self and sure enough there is a person out there for anyone. Dont feel bad about never being asked out on a date. try to meet new guys and make friends and sure enough one of them will ask u. If you grew up with all the guys u kno thats probably why they havent said anything. They already kno u and dont want to ruin a friendship. Im really sorry and hope u find a guy. Best of luck.

hi honey. you sound like a very sweet girl..
you don't say how old these "men" are that you are interested in but if they are much older, then that may be the problem.
if you look younger than your age, then that could also be part of it.
as far as your flat chest, don't worry. some guys, including me, find small breasts really cute, sexy and attractive.
i think your issue might be attitude.. if you had problems with your dad, and if you are sad, negative, or depressed, maybe these guys think they need to help you, comfort you, console you, and be your friend (instead of romancing and loving you).
or, it could be you come across with bad body language.. could be guys don't ask you put because they think you want to be left alone?
if your problems with your dad are bothering you, seek guidance from a psychologist or school guidance councillor.
you need to learn to love yourself and respect yourself. even if you don't like your body, spend time pampering yourself. take a nice bubble bath, give yourself smooth sexy skin.
try to be happy and possitive and guys of all ages should be attracted to you.
and don't be afraid to be the one who initiates a date. if there is a guy you are interested in, talk to him, ask him out for a date.. and do it with a smile, and do it with confidence.. i'm sure you'll get some takers!
heck, I'd go on a date with you if i could. i'll give anyone a chance. always fun to meet new people and have fun together..

I can tell that you are very cute and sweet without seeing you.
I think it is your character or personal traits that make guys want to protect you. It could also be your body figure. Your very small and probably very cute and they don't see you as a sex object which is good in some ways.
You are only 17 and you should relax and don't worry about all that. Believe me, you may not see it now, there will be young men interested in you in due time. You just need more years to live and you will see.

Listen, your still very young, you dont need to worry about all the physical stuff about your body, Hey, im flat chested too, but i have a boyfriend for 3 years now that loves me for me, if your dating or looking for an older man, maybe thats your problem..look for someone more around your age..and if you cant find any luck with that then just stay single its FUN!

For one thing most guys look for girls who are attractive and have "enough" upstairs. To the guys you are a sister or daughter and one who is not especially desired for your outward appearance. At least this is the way it sounds to me. But do not be discouraged. There will be a guy who you will like who will see you for the wonderfully sweet girl you are. It will not matter to him what you appear to be because he will be looking for what's on the inside. That is what counts. Just remember this....guys who think physical appearance is everything are very shallow thinkers and not gentlemen. So be patient.

You are only 17 with no booty. Guys are going to look at you like a little sister and not as the goddess you want to be. Your still blooming and when your done they will be drooling over you. Trust me your time will come. I didn't finish blooming until I was in my 20's....Then the guys I used to like that turned me down, they were sorry when they saw my transformation and I turned them all down!! That's what you call sweet revenge!!!

Coming from somebody who's seen a shy stable-looking guy. there have been many circumstances the place i would not attitude the lady i admire because of the fact i'm going to be scared. men fairly are cowards. motives why is considering you're probably fairly particularly and that they could't face rejection. it relatively is from my journey. :) in specific circumstances in case you already know a shy guy likes you, purely go as much as him and ask him head to head; 'do you wanna dangle out?'. in specific circumstances females could play the guy's place in specific circumstances. wish that facilitates.

well, it depends on age difference, what guys are into personality wise, also if these guys know about your childhood it could be a protection thing. protectivness could also be a sign of liking someone more but it varies from each situation

trust me you'll get plenty of attention and date requests in the not to distant future....you are what I find to be "My type" and I'm not alone...don't worry life happens and it will happen to you eventually... by the way I'm old enough to be your grandfather so I am just saying there are men out there that will appreciate you and all you have to offer...
