I am scheduled for a root canal tomorrow but the pain is starting to get to me. I have a pretty good tolorance for pain but I need some relief and I'm hoping the Darvocet will help. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes it's ok because darvocet has tylenol in it, not advil so it's ok.

Darvocet is nothing but glorified Tylenol. It's fine to take those two medications together.
Have you tried gargling with warm salt water?
Have you tried anbesol or oragel?
If your tooth is abscessed why is the dentist doing a root canal? He should clear the infection up first. Why aren't you on an antibiotic? He should not perform that proceedure on your mouth if your tooth is abscessed. Ask anyone and they will tell you the same thing. It's dangerous. The infection could spread very easily.

Dude, I've taken 16 cold pills to get high before. The human body is amazing at keeping its self alive. You could probably take three darvocet and be just fine. But, I dont suggest taking three, just one or two.

You cant take darvocet on top of advil.Thats an overdose and you might as well cancle the root canal.Root canals dont do anything ffor abscessed teeth.So your best bet is to buy yourself some orajel numing gel and put it on ur tooth.And then pull it.

it is ok to take advil and darvocet for the pain
i have done it before when i had impacted wisdom teeth
