speaking for myself no. Hypothetically if one saw the Holy Spirit in action and stated that it was from satan they would run that risk. Also a continual downward spiral into certain sinful patterns with no confession or wish to repent can cause one to lose his inheritance. I am not sure if this means no heaven or no reward in heaven but the greek leans heavily in the direction of no admitance. This is a huge disagreement in the church cuz there is the once saved always saved people who think if this is happening then that person who is slipping never sincerely got saved in the first place but no matter the remedy is the same in that one should get back up on that horse and ride it home, or get up there for the first time either way a course of doing what saves in the first place rights the offence. The word states in describing the process towards "salvation" that the initial act is to be repeated daily. Paul adds the words "die to your flesh Daily" so this idea one act one time and then do whatever is in error, and the directions to hold each other accountable are designed to stop this back sliding process our sin nature likes to do.
so in conclusion we can abandon Him but He is always there for us.

I don't think that he abandons us, but we abandon him. I guess that if a Christian did something horrible and he really didn't care, then he abandoned God for that sin.
Then again, if someone was a REAL Christian, they wouldn't do anything bad enough to make God abandon them (or vice versa).

There is nothing my son could ever do that would make me abandon him. Just as the Father will never abandon his children. Even on the day of judgement, He would not have abdoned the "non-believers' because they had ample warning and time to head it.....He will never abandon His children...

Since He created us, God is in each and every one of us, no matter how evil we are or what evil acts we perform.
When God confines people to Hell for eternity, it is not because He is abandoning them, it is because they abandoned Him during their life on this Earth, and therefore it would not make sense for them to spend eternity with someone they avoided or outrightly rejected while they were here.

Yes I do, but if we confess to our sin and are truly sorry and he will know if you are then yes. No sin is too great for God to forgive, But it is truly up to him, sometimes it may seem as if he has abandoned us but it may have been us who abandoned him. He might be calling but we can't hear it. So Jesus is coming look busy!!! God bless.

no, God is love. God is slow to anger and abounding in love. 'the only unforgivable sin is the sin against the Holy Ghost' found in the book of Luke (new testament). sin against the holy ghost is not believing in Christ. if you believe in Christ there's no way, no way that God would abandon you!

No. I don't believe that God ever abandons us, no matter what we do. We might separate ourselves from God, but that is our own doing.

No, God said even though I make my seat in hell he will be there with me. In revelations it states that "none will be lost". AS for the lake of fire and hell, the final step in refining Gold is to fire it to a high heat burning off the dross, when done you have pure Gold. When God takes one out of the fire they to will be PURE GOLD.
