The green beans and French-style beans won't, especially if they're in the freezer section of your market. Frozen vegetables, of any kind, because of processing, are lower in calories. What you have to be careful of in the way of beans, especially if they're canned, is many are packed with put-on-weight preservatives and are high in sodium (salt).

Beans are high in fiber and protien. Foods high in fiber help you loose weight. Refried beans however are useually fried up with quite alot of fat, delicious but deffinately fattening! Green beens are good for loosing weight unless you cook them up with alot of fat. Enjoy!
