My male and female basset hounds just had a litter of 8 puppies. I am going to keep 1. There's 1 male and 1 female that I like. Does anyone have any cute names.

Gosh - Bassetts are such awesome dogs. I miss ours so much. She was named Topper before be got her. I was not fond of it at first but our little Toppy Dog just grew on us. Enjoy your babies.

I have a female basset hound named Daisy, and I know of two other female bassets named Daisy in our small town. It definitely fits her. I have a friend that had a male basset named Ralph- used to trip over his own ears...too funny!

I have a basset named GOYABEAN. She came with that name from the shelter. I always wanted to have a pair of bassets and name them Gomez and Morticia. Well at least the boy would be Gomez...doesn't that seem like the perfect basset name. When you think about what Gomez looked like LOL.
If I had 8, I would name them Bean names after my precious basset.

AHHH. I'm jealous! I want one :/ They are so cute! If you want regular names Macy/Macie or something like that. I'm terrible with names but it's so fun naming things! :P Umm..you can try googling female names for basset hound, I just did that and found a lot.

I like Trusty for male dogs...like from the Disney movie Lady and the Tramp. And actually, I like Lady for girl dogs LOL. We're looking for dogs right now, and I think that's what we'll name them when we get them!
In the end, everyone has different tastes, though...but those are what I'd recommend.
