Use a clarifying shampoo once to twice a week. Don't use a whole lot of conditioner, it can cause oily build up. If you use the clarifying shampoo it will help open up the pores of the hair.
I've never tried this, but I read it in a magazine. If your hair is oily, use flour (like flour you cook with). Put some in your hands and work it in your hair, in the spots its oily. The magazine said celebs do this a lot, so I guess it must work.
I hope this helps

Well, starting off fresh would be good, so you may consider getting 1/2 in trimmed off the bottom of each layer. Also, washing your hair once every 2 days will help your hair. straightening and blow drying your hair is VERY bad and so is hair spray, rubber bands, and gel. Deep condition your hair once every 2 week and this recipe is GREAT for hair TRUST me I do it all the time! LOL
Blend one avacado with 1 table spoon of mayo, leave it in your hair for 45 mins then rinse in the shower with WARM water.

Use a vinegar rinse after shampoo. That's definitely going to help you. Add a tsp of any white vinegar to a cup of water. Rinse hair with it after shampoo. Wash off after a couple of minutes.

try not to wash ur hair as often...as in wash it every other day instead of every day, cut down on the amount of brushing (it produces excess oil) and hair products (gel, spray, etc) u use
also, sprinkle baby powder in your oily spots...it cuts down the oil and ur hair smells clean and natural instead of chemically or perfume-like
and it softens ur hair too ;)
good luck
