We have finite minds and His is infinite.
I like how He tells it to Job.
"1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said, 2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. 3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth." Chapter 40
Nuff said.

There is no evidence for a creator, there is no evidence against a creator. Some people have faith in one or the other of those stands but as religious faith is based on believing what some bloke or another in the past has said is true and atheism seems to be based on disbelieving the same blokes, I can't see how anybody can be so sure for themselves.

One who would have enabled us to communicate with him without having to use for that purpose a middle man.
After all, the Creator was supposed to have created us in his own image. Is he unable to communicate? Is he in hiding? Is he ashamed of its creation that he doesn't turn up?
I don't really believe that there is a Creator as such. We are such a mess that we'd be acting as a living proof of the Creator's failure as an omnipotent being.
Saying that, I do respect everybody's right to believe in a Creator of their choice.
Hope that helps

Well the FACT that there is no magical sky-pixie for one.
If you have proof of the existence of such a being, by all means, provide it. You'd be the first person in the history of history to do so you know.
Think of the fame.
Oh, and before you say "you can't prove he doesn't exist!" or something equally asinine, the burden of proof rests upon the person who says such a thing exists. Not the other way around.

Its Ancient man's naive attempt to explain things he couldn't understand.
Of course for everything to have a creator, the creator must have a creator....and logically the whole silly idea falls down there.

Again, the answers are littered with believers quoting great lumps of sacred books. This is self-referencing proof, and cannot be accepted. There is no proof of the existence of a god , and until then, I must assume that there is no god. The burden of (verifiable) proof rests with believers, and they still can't come up with it - it's laughable. They will say that faith is the key. well, if that is the truth, then they must admit that non-belief is equally (I say more) valid.

There is absolutely no evidence to support the idea that there is a Creator. None. Zip.
"I feel him in me" is not evidence. "I feel the holy spirit in me" is not evidence. "I prayed and I felt his presence" is not evidence.
There has never been a miracle, no one has ever risen from the dead, and no one has ever spoken to god. All imaginary.
