i am going to get more of a professional camera but i was just curious if i could pull off the streaking light effect with a basic kodak digital camera. its one of those easy share ones..4mp. if so how would i do it?

If your camera has manual adjustments for shutter speed which controls the amount of time the sensor is exposed to light, then yes you can get the effect that you want, just be sure to use a tripod.

Are you talking about car lights at night or something like that? Film is so much better for dark situations, digital images have alot of noise in dark images. You could try it with an easy share though.

Check the camera manual and see if you can increase the exposure time. If you expose it for a long time, then anything that moves will become a blur, lights will be blurs, etc.

shoot with no flash and move the camera as it exposes. Basically you are using the camera shake to your advantage. I just did this like 30 minutes ago myself.
