This Agnostic I know claims he was getting death threats for telling his girlfriend about his beliefs. He claimed somebody keyed his car and slashed his tires too. He never found out who did it.

Some people can not handle it. Seems to me people like that are weak in their faith. It's a really weird thing to see someone get upset like that over an agnostic telling his girlfriend his beliefs.

That was not done by Christians. It may have been done by people that claimed to be Christians, but can you picture Christ keying someones car or slashing tires.
Christians are supposed to be Christ like.
If they are doing things like that, Christianity did not take for them.

As to the opening of the question, a true Christian cannot be converted to anything. If they are a true Christian they would not give up the relationship that they have with God.

I'm confused. Was this agnostic becoming a christian and he got the threats?

It is ok for an athiest to convert to a christian. It may be what church they join that depends, but a church wouldn't reject someone. If they had found God, they wouldn't be an athiest anymore. Also I think it is harder though for an athiest to find God. A christian may turn athiest only because of a traumatic experience.

I don't think anyone should try to convert another person to their beliefs. Allow people to believe and live as they choose. That sucks for your friend. People can be so stupid.

It is not ok. Otherwise you have a one sided and close minded conversation, all have the right to speak, those who are threatening are not christian, they may think they are, but the religious groups were the ones who hated Christ anyway, the drunks and whores liked him, he drank and hung out with them without offence.

It is not OK for a Christian to try to convert anyone....or any person of any religion to convert someone else. Everyone needs to decide for themselves

It's not ok. Even though I'm Atheist, I would say most Christians don't try to push it hardcore... this person obviously has some issues. Probably needs to get laid.

Its not ok for anybody to convert someone. If you don't do it of freewill then it is all for nothing. As for your friend, I doubt it was a Christian who did it, lol. Odds are just some whackjob.

Some Christians can be pretty nasty. But then any dominant group will try to enforce its will against the minority. It's remarkably Darwinian, when you think about it.
