I would think yes, if it has been treated and it has not colonized. But also where was the infection? Was it a pnuemonia, bacteremia? For the most part I think they will be fine.

I would think it would depend on how much contact. Even with treatment, MRSA means Multiple Resistant (to antibiotics).Strict
handwashing should be practiced by all who are around the person with MrSA. Also the linens should be washed using bleach. I would check with your health professional on this question to be sure.
