When you press the pedal, it just shudders and barely moves, like it's got tremors or D.T.'s. New batteries? New potentiometer? Help?!

umm it could be the batteries... i know a thing or 2 about golf carts, i work at a golf course. pull up you seat.. look to see if any of the cables have detached from any of the batteries. also, if u pull up the seat, u will see a switch... switch it to TOW (as is towing a boat) and leave it there for a min. step on the gas and see if the problem still exists. whether is does or doesn't click it back to RUN and try again. thats about as much as i can tell u w/o lookin at it.

How old are your batteries? Depending on use you will get 4-6 years out of them. Clean & Tighten all the connections and spray with the post protector(red spray), and make sure they are full of water in each cell. Charge for the recemmended amount of time and see if that helps. If not then you need to get a tester and test each battery. If you have it stored at a golf course the maintenence guys generally have a tester and other equipment that may be needed to test it. Where I play the greenskeepers' son works on all of our carts. Good Luck ....... That's why I went to a gas cart!!!!

Well if it seems like the batteries are worn out, maybe they are. Try going to an auto shop (checkers, autozone, pepboys) and getting a meter for electricity to check the power of each battery. That is what I do for my cart.

if it doesnt seam like it wants to charge, take to the place where you purchased the golf car and see if they can tell you whats wrong. Otherwise all i can tell you is make sure you have all the connections hooked up good!!! Have a nice day!

If it is acting like the batteries are down, then maybe they are. Charge it.
