okay so...ive dated alot of guys ♥. and my mom thinks im turning into a slut. but i am sooo not!! i just like to flirt alot! and is it my fault that my mom didnt like to flirt back in the day? how do i convince her that im not?

The only way that you can convince her is when you stop being a flirt. I don't think there is a problem with flirting, but your mother seems to think there is. She doesn't want you to ruin your life by getting pregnant and being another statistic. She wants only good things for you, as any parent would. So it's all up to you kiddo on how to conduct yourself around boys....Good luck

Not what? Sleeping with a bunch of different guys? Okay so don't then. In your mom's day, or rather in my mom's day, because I'm probably as old as your mom , it was normal and respectable to date a lot of different guys at once. Back then dating was not another word for sex.

Not to be mean to your mother or anything, but come on! Every girl loves to flirt, its fun, and unless you've had sex with many or all of those guys that you have dated, you're not a slut and I guess you should just try to let her see that your not one.

I have been known to try to flirt my way out of trouble (keep in mind I dont' usually get into trouble. someon else does it FOR me.) so it's a good skill to have. besides, you could be flirting with someone worth dating. but it's mean to flirt with someone you dont' WANT to date who is clearly interested so you need tokeep yourself in check. as for convincing your mom keep your dates out of your bedroom in fact keep them downstairs in community areas in your house and let her know where you are at all times and that should help alot. because sex is obviously a primary concern for her. you sound like you have a bubbly personality. and she may not and that's ok.

Have a talk with your mother that you just like flirting it makes you feel good about yourself. Tell her how you feel about relationships, your views and maybe she'll actually look at you as an adult (or with intelligence) I hope your mom didn't tell you that exact word.. That's terrible.. Stick up for yourself, and be you!!

well in that case, tell her that ur just having fun and u know what ur doing.. not that im encouraging u to flirt but hey its fun but just be careful who u flirt with though... AND show ur mom that there's nothing more to it than that.. unless you sleep around with guys then maybe ur mom's right...

you need to tell her that you have morals and limits and maybe explain to her why some of your relationships ended and if its just a one date thing, then technically you were not "dating" just on a date and yes there is a difference.

Hand her a negative pregnancy test and a clean test from the STD doctor.
Tell her it could be worse, you could be pregnant and she could be a Grandma. Tell her if she keeps complaining, you will rebel and she will be a Grandma.
