I've been on two dates with this girl and got on fairly well I thought, each time when I text her she responds fairly quickly. However tonight I texted her for the first time in a couple of days and she hasn't responded, should I take this as a message that she's backing off? I'm worried that on the second date I appeared a bit hasty inviting her back to mine. What should I make of it?

give her a phone call and if she hangs up on you, you know that you have done some thing wrong, or she just dose not like you in the same way you like her

First, if you really liked this girl you would call her and not text her. Give her some space because you might make her think that your a little overbearing if you keep "texting" her. If she doesn't answer, leave a message saying that you just wanted to apologize for coming on too strong the other night and that she was just so hot you had a hard time holding back. Let her know that you're into her and look forward to spending more time together.

It's only been two days since you last texted her. I don't think 2 days is that big of a deal..It's the middle of the week and she could have anything going on in her life that needs her attention..school, cleaning her house, dr's appointments. Just give her a phone call and tell her you're concerned and missed her. Why don't you give her some flowers and a card...what woman can resist flowers?

Don't worry - perhaps she's out in a club or a pub and hasn't heard her phone, perhaps she's at home and has her phone off for some privacy, perhaps she's out of credit, or out of charge. If you've not heard from her in a couple of days, give her a call on Friday and ask her what she's up to over the weekend. Good luck!

Do you know for sure that she has her 'phone turned ON. Try calling her and if there is still no answer, call round on the premise that you are concerned. If she is still not answering even the door, leave her a note that you were concerned and ask her to contact you. If she still doesn't contact you, forget her and move on.

Could be backing off......could be her mobile is pay as you go and she has no credit. Only way to be sure is to stop texting and phone her on her mobileand ask her. At the very least she will tell you what is happening and you will have to accept it.

i would call her as it is much nicer to talk thatn txt, maybe call and ask how she is and if she fancied meeting up again because you really enjoyed your last date. there could be so many reasons why she has not txt more than likly if she is like me she has used up all her txt limit and refuses to pay the 12p per txt message. honestly just call her to put your mind at rest n you will know by the tone of her voice where you stand. good luck!

Ever thought of just calling. It's more polite and shows that your really thinking about her. She could not be getting your texts, it happens all the time.

Don't be a psycho. Maybe she's busy. Just leave it, you've only been on 2 dates for God's sake. Don't be so neurotic.

Try calling her but don't text or call her too often because you may just be annoying her.
