ok my friend is in 5th grade....he wants to know in the english colonies why was a well in the common.....i told him that the well was for public use, but he didn't believe me...so i want second opinions...easy 10 points

Yeah, you're right....because everyone needed water, they didn't have indoor plumbing (really, did they even have any...lol), so it being in the center was easier excess for everyone.
