The Bible is God's observe and those concerns practice it. a million) The Bible is scientifically ideal. easiest God might have pointed out the form of the earth whilst the Bible replaced into written. In Ecc. It says the earth is a sphere and sits on itself. the form of a sphere is around. 2) traditionally it quite is real as a prediction of Cyrus replaced into as quickly as foretold 3 hundred years in the past than he replaced into as quickly as born and he was once named by his identify, Cyrus. We additionally understand the Cesar's lived besides as a results of fact the Pharaohs. 3) the fundamental element is the predictions in the Bible have come definitely. There are maximum sensible 2 that have now no longer got here approximately, the fantastic Tribulation and Armageddon. Because it's the truth and a guide for living, i believe in the bible as it's written while so many search it for absolution for a lifestyle they are living that may justify in their own heads something they are doing and want to go on but ignore the rest of it. You have to believe its entire content. I am extreme Christian believer and you should be also. Don't fight it embrace it you just might like it and your life will improve i guarantee it. I have learned this in my 56 years of living on this planet

Because this is a religious forum. Quoting Scriptures from the Bible backs up what a person might say. Just stating your own opinions will never convert anybody, but the word of God is alive and exerts power and is able to overturn deeply entrenched things, it is truth to those seeking it and a condemnation to those ignoring it.

Christians have the Bible as their authority. We are to have the mind of Christ. The way we do this is by memorizing scripture. Scripture was meant for teaching.

yes christians always put bible quotes in their answers but they dont follow it.
"And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head - it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or shaved off, she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head" (1 Corinthians 11:3-10).

Because it's easier than trying to come up with an answer on their own. Personally, I think it's a cheap cop out. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said : "I hate quotations. Tell me what you know."

The truth revealed in the bible sets me free. I have prayed to God questions and He gives me answers. Many times the answer is a Word or scripture in the Bible.
I think the feeling of annoyance in you when it comes to the written Word of God is the devil pushing your buttons, who doesn't want you to know the true answer to your question.

i am extremely pro christianity. almost as pro-christianity as you can get.
but i actually agree with you. you can't just fire bible quotes at people like a machine gun and think it is going to do anything.
jesus didn't stand around arguing with everyone about these things.
he walked the walk. period. case closed.
