creamy mashed potato with garlic butter, sour cream, spring onions, melted cheese and gravy?

ditch the cheese, it is too overpowering. the rest sounds great together. good luck!

Honestly, it sounds like a little too much being added. Mashed potatoes are best if you don't try to overdo them. I think the garlic butter and sour cream sounds great. Or you could do spring onions and melted cheese, but not all of them. Usually if you are going to use gravy, don't try to season the potatoes too much, just salt and pepper (and maybe sour cream). :)

I would either use the toppings OR the gravy, but not both. I would think you would get too many flavors going and it would be yuck with both. You can always season your gravy with onions and garlic though.

Without the gravy, not too bad. Depends on your taste really. I would skip the gravy, and it would hepl if you were telling us what you were intending to do with this mixture? Use it as a topping, a side dish, what?

Definitely though, seriously, skip gravy...
