The bible does not teach the idea of a trinity.
The OT or NT is very clear on this matter.
The trinity is a teaching of Plato that "found" it's way into Christendom.
Rom. 15:5,6 shows that Jesus and Paul, both of them didn't believe in a trinity.
1 Cor 11:3 shows that God the Father is greater than Jesus.
Rev 3:12, Jesus recognized his God
Rev 1:8, shows John did not believe in a trinity.
So if the Jews, Jesus, and the 1st century Christians didn't believe in a trinity, why should we?

Understanding the concept "Trinity in Christianity and Hinduism" -
In the Trinity concept of Christianity... the existence of an Almighty God the Holy Father, Jesus as the son of God and a holy spirit forms part of the trinity. The existence of three independent entities forms the core teachings of Bible.
In Hinduism... the concept of Advaita Vedanta is the foremost and most believed upon. Bhagavad Gita (the most sacred scripture of Hinduism), the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Mahabharata also confirms the existence of one and only God.
Hinduism also believes that God Almighty has three free facets to life... the creative attribute of Almighty God known as Brahma, Bhagwan Vishnu the preserver and Lord Shiva as the maintainer. It is Lord Shiva who has control over life and death of the body. This aspect of God is never referred as trinity in Hinduism. More on trinity here- http://www.godrealized.org/jesus_christ.html

Because that would mean that they would have to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God, just as the Father is God. The Trinity, an infinite concept, cannot be fully understood by our finite minds. However, we can look at different aspects of it, for example: it is sort of like 1 x 1 x 1 = 1, just, both sides of the equation at the same time, while at the same time keeping them separate....again, we cannot understand it, and I definitely cannot explain it. But in answer to your question, Jews do not regard Christ Jesus as God; accepting the doctrine of the trinity would force them to do so. God bless!
Note: One answerer said that the trinity is not a Bible-based teaching. Not necessarily true. Though the actual word does not appear in the Bible, the concept does. Thus, even though the name has been coined by man, what it represents IS Bible-based.

Because just like Paul, they have spiritual scales over their eyes and many Jews after 2000+ years cannot see that Jesus is God's son and is the Messiah. But as the Bible promises, one day God will remove those scales and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the Son of God.
How will he do this? In the future when Israel will one day be about to get destroyed by many different countries that hate them, Jesus himself will stop it when he returns and the whole world will see.

Judaism rejects the trinity for the simple fact that the God of the Jews (and later, the Christians) was not a trinity. If he were, why didn't men of God like David or Jeremiah or Samuel refer to God as a trinity? The reason is that the trinity was unknown to them.
In a lame attempt to prove their point, trinitarians will point to Gen. 1:26, where Jehovah says: "Let us make man in our image." Do you see 3 co-equal persons making up God here? I sure can't.
The trinity is not a Bible-based teaching. You will not find a single verse in the Bible that even hints that God is made up of 3 co-eternal persons. Go ahead and look. You won't find it.

Judaism does not recognize the existance of Jesus. For them there is only God, who will eventually send a Messiah, that they are still waiting... It can not be a trinity if there is only One. Judaism, as Islam, have only One God, with no sons, daughters, mothers, fathers...

Judaism rejects that Christ was the Son Of God or equal to God himself. Therefore they could not accept the idea of Christ being a part of the Trinity. It is my understanding that they are still waiting for the Messiah to come and do not believe that Christ was or is the Messiah, stating that Christ did not fulfil many of the things that the Old Testament prophesied about him.

Well, they do not believe in Jesus or the Holy Spirit. They have no need for a trinity-why should they believe in the trinity?

Because the Bible does not teach trinity. (Deut 6:4) Jews are monotheistic and so are muslims AND SO ARE TRUE CHRISTIANS! (Gal 3:20, 1Cor 8:4-6).
Bible principles such as RANSOM, MESSIAH, SON OF GOD, SON OF MAN, make no sense at all if Jesus is God the Almighty.
Trinity is pagan in origin and stems from Babylonish sex worship.

Because Judaism is a religion that originated before Jesus. They dont believe in Jesus. So they obviously don't believe in the existense of God's son. DUH! And judaism is also a strictly monotheistic religion. The belief in trinity is not true monotheism.
