Girls: Many of the girls that I have been talking to lately have been telling me that they think they should always be looking for their husband, but in my opinion, we should let go and let God. I believe that constantly looking for our husband will go nowhere, and that we should trust God to lead us to him. What do you believe? Do you have any verses that I could use to back this up?

I don't believe in God....but I do believe people who are narrowly looking just for a Husband or Wife are setting themselves up for failure and narrowing my experiences.

However, leaving it to a god might be a tad egocentric? What makes you, or anyone else, so special? If you want to get married, finding people of similar goals is part of that...but it shouldn't be your only geiger counter.

If you blindfold yourself so God can lead you to the mall, then God could lead you there, but you'd have a tough time when you got there, like walking into the door, because you didn't see it. It's sort of the same for relationships. You may not be the one who decides when to enter a relationship or which relationship to enter, but keep your eyes open for where God is leading you. Remember, God wants you to be happy in your relationships, not just making you wait for ever just because you weren't looking.
